The ASTX-1 is sun tracking and positioning instrument. This instrument is loading sun sensor for correct solar tracking. CH1 pyrheliometer is mounted on the right side of ASTX-1 for measuring the direct solar irradiance. CM21 pyranometer and CGR4 pyrgeometer are mounted on the top of ASTX-1 for measuring the diffuse solar irradiance and terrestrial irradiance, respectively: ASTX-1 have a shadowing ball assembly to block the direct normal solar radiation.
